How we do what we do.
The Office of College Marketing (OCM) produce a variety of planning materials that include a Marketing Plan, Annual Report, Long Range Plan, and Goals and Objectives. These documents assist OCM staff with positioning the College in the community as an affordable, convenient and high quality institution of education and training with many choices for educational goal achievement. Plans support an overall emotive campaign that positions the College and provides specific campaigns for the Fall, Spring, and Summer credit and non-credit semesters. In addition, planning meetings held throughout the year with faculty and staff assists OCM with building effective campaigns in support of program specific initiatives and campus events.
The OCM continues to tap into best practices from throughout the State and from national counterparts. We acknowledge the contributions of the marketing advisory committee, division directors, program coordinators, faculty and staff that help to guide the marketing staff throughout the year. Through planning sessions we fine-tune plans to meet specific marketing requests and then use those experiences to build on activities for the next year. OCM will continue to rely on this team approach. Active participation and input throughout the year by College professionals is essential for successful implementation of the marketing strategy. It reinforces the one-college concept and creates synergy that achieves more than any single effort. Feedback and input will result in continuous improvement of our planning and strategy.
Together we make great things happen.
