New Program Coming in late Fall 2006

Medical Coding & Billing Specialist

Interested in preparing for a position in a new setting? Like working in the healthcare field, but not directly with patients? Then Medical Coding and Billing might just be the job you’re looking for. With curriculum based on the American Health Information Management Association standards for coding and recommended practices established by experienced coding and billing instructors, this program will provide the knowledge and beginning skills for employment in a Medical Coding and Billing setting. Students successfully completing the program will be eligible to sit for the Certified Coding Associate (CCP) exam. New coders who earn the CCA will immediately demonstrate their competency in the field, even if they don’t have much job experience.

Employment prospects for Medical Coding and Billing Specialists are excellent. Graduates may be employed in a variety of settings including: physician offices and clinics, medical group practices, managed care companies, insurance companies, hospitals and other health providers. Register and attend the FREE information & orientation session, and receive a discount on your course fee.
