How do I get more information about specific programs?

How can I guarantee myself a seat?

Classes are open on a first come, first served basis. Early registration assures you a seat, especially in classes that fill quickly. Call our Non-Credit Registration Office at (203) 575-8029, Monday through Thursday 9:00am - 4:30pm & Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Are there deadlines for registration?

The Continuing Education staff determines whether to run a course based on sufficient enrollment. You are strongly encouraged to register early so that decisions can be made within a week or two of the course. There are multiple ways to register. Choose the method that best fits your schedule. Classes fill quickly; early registration is recommended.

Where do I park?

Parking is available throughout the campus. Watch for signs and park in student designated spaces only. Click for a map and directions.

Where will my course meet?

Room assignments and campus locations are listed with each course. (See the current catalog) TBA indicates a “to be announced” room assignment. You will be notified in advance of the room assignment. Because some room changes may occur, be sure to include your day and evening phone numbers on the registration form.

Is there a required textbook?

Textbooks not provided in class are available at the College Bookstore one week prior to the start of class. If you need additional information, please contact the program coordinator listed in the course catalog, Bookstore hours are also located in the course catalog.

What if I have prior experience and want to make a course substitution within a certificate program?

Certificate requirements for completion are stated with the appropriate programs in the catalog. If you have prior experience and wish to discuss a course substitution, please contact the program coordinator for an appointment.

What if I need to drop a class and cancel my registration?

In order to receive a refund, notification of withdrawal must be received by the Continuing Education office, in writing, 48 hours prior to the beginning of class. If there is a course cancellation due to insufficient enrollment, a refund will automatically be processed for you. Please allow approximately 2 - 4 weeks for processing. When registering with a coupon, cancellation of one class voids the discounted price.
